Yep. I hope every parent does. A few years ago we started spending Christmas mornings at the homeless shelter
feeding brunch before opening presents. It's the thing I look forward to most. Tomorrow morning we'll get up and head over there and get back around noon. Maybe we'll read Luke 2 before we open gifts. Maybe we'll read it on the drive home. But, yeah, I think you're doing the right thing.
