The College Football Playoff Selection Committee has no input into who Alamo Bowl Officials choose.
This is like saying Microsoft executives need to fix google search results and Google executives need to fix things in Microsoft Office.
They’re separate business. They’re in the same industry, but one doesn’t have to do with the other. Contracts govern who the Alamo Bowl can select. Alamo Bowl officials would like the teams they’re going to get to be ranked higher, not lower. So while the CFP Selection Committee has something against the Big XII, Alamo Bowl Officials do not.
