I believe that is a big part. I also think BYU needs to do some self scouting.

The play calling in the red zone on Saturday night and the week before was extremely ineffective.

Against Utah that can be little easier understood as they are an excellent D. Kansas however is not an excellent D, and BYU still failed to convert even one trip into the red zone into a TD.
