The play call came in from ARod. It's a play that gives Jake multiple options...
based upon what he sees pre-snap.
The problem is Ta'ase is not the TE you want to throw a fade route to. Keanu Hill and Ryner Swanson are both much better options. They are both more athletic than Ta'ase.
Just as LJ or even Sione Moa need to be used more in red zone situations.
