In my state, there are pretty harsh laws if you get a ticket when you're under 18.
My son got pulled over by the state patrol was given a ticket for going 72 in a 65.
By the book, they take his license for a month for this.
I've got a court appointment next week where I'm basically pleading we don't content the offense, but this punishment is too harsh.
My offer is if the state will wave the ticket, as his parents we'll restrict his driving for a month to only school, seminary and work and we'll even make a donation to the state or a charitable cause equal to the fine.
I feel like we can't really try to argue he didn't do it, and I'm sure everyone who ever got a ticket would like to have it.
Other than "pretty please" I'm not sure what else is worth arguing.
But any other advice for how to beg our way out of this would be appreciated.
