It’s about going for the win rather than going for the tie and hoping for OT
To be clear, down multiple scores you are 99% going to lose and we are talking about maximizing tint win percentage points.
But going for 2 allows for the upside of winning in regulation, and if you don’t get it you can go for 2 on the next score and make it up.
