It's an obvious attempt to diminish or devalue the great things Utah has accomplished.

By your own admission, 1-2 losses don't mean much in a P5 conference. I'd be cautious being overly critical of Utah. Every one in the conference has shown flaw...that's what makes the Big 12 so engaging and fun.

There is no big dog with substantial advantages like the other conferences.

What we need is for BYU to continue to quietly win. Be the blue collar, under-the-radar success story. If BYU can contend or even get to the CCG, they would boost recruiting and program perception to help become a perennial contender.

I'd love to see it, but it would make the "rivalry" dialogue so much more fun and even handed.
