2017 was the worst BYU team in the 2000s and 2022 was the 4th loss in a row
where the wheels had come off completely after ND, Arkansas and Liberty
ECU was maddening given our talent level, but we had just been through 3 straight weeks of misery. We had no Bye until after Boise (November 12)

Correct. I expect BYU to try and schedule a H/H with a P4 team that comes to BYU

On that note, based on the schedules now, Stanford and ND have openings the same

Our bridges with Notre Dame are burned.

Agreed, which is what a 2025/2026 H/H agreement would have to be

Yeah, it would take some moving around, for sure.

Wait. Why would it require moving a lot of games?

I agree, but I wouldn't be signing any H-A deals with the PAC-2 either.

We have a limited amount of schedule space.

Yes we do. But that doesn't take away from being able to do a H-A deal.

Yes. It DOES take away from us being able to schedule a H-A deal.

We don't owe them any favors about the independence deals. If BYU considers it

if somehow the Pac-2 is getting counted as a power conference then its P5 not P4

Awesome. 2 of the only schools that are close enough to where I live. Hopefully a home and home series.
