with insomnia my whole life (just shutting off my brain is really hard), and my sleep is never restful. I really need more sleep because it negatively affects my health.
But I'm finding it absolutely impossible to fall asleep with the cpap on. I've tried two different styles of masks. I've tried wearing it at different times (which is what the doctor said to do). But it's actually making my insomnia worse. So I'm getting worse sleep than without the cpap. After 45 minutes to an hour, I just end up taking it off so I can sleep.
Any ideas?
