Sink is right about that, what I don’t agree with in his posts is that the school changed because they were afraid to look cheap. They’ve looked cheap for years and years. I think the change boils down to BYU getting a new University President (Reese) and our stepping up to a big time conference. Reese is a big time athletic supporter and gets it. The fact that BYU was able to get KY vetted and hired in 4 days after Pope left is phenomenal and a huge indicator of the landscape changing at BYU around sports.
