While they rake in dollars, getting our fans and markets to tune into their games and the CFP. An actual P2 breakaway (especially with how those conferences as currently constructed) is unlikely to make monetary sense. They'll probably just continue to widen the resource gap until most other schools and conferences can't compete, at which point they can have their cake and eat it too without slamming the door on everyone else (and all the legal troubles that would come with that).

I do love how Utes catastrophize about the P2 though, like it's a new problem. The P2 started their breakaway before you guys even joined the PAC, you've literally never experienced anything but second-class citizenship. The B12 is arguably the best and most stable position you've ever been in, all you can do is hope the B12 can keep pace well enough to compete.
