Too many good players to only consolidate across 40 schools w/ 22 starting spots
...the numbers just dont support the theory.
Also of note, more 3 star rated kids coming out of HS are drafted into the NFL than any other star cohort... many of these 3 star kids are playing on the "lower end" of the P4 schools and G5 or even FCS schools...
Lots of the 4 and 5* kids end up busts as well...
