Odd interpretation of something I didnt say
No where did I suggest what you wrote, I was only pointing out that dual incomes are a factor that has to be acknowledged as a contributor to people buying larger homes now.

I was raised in a home with a stay at home mother, and it was a blessing in my life, and at that time was pretty common. Certainly where I live now - and nationally - that stay at home parent is much less common, as the stat that I posted indicates. I think overall that an argument could certainly be made that this isn't a net positive for families, but from a financial perspective, it also explains why families are buying larger homes now than in decades past.
