pour concrete. I built a house that was laid out 1ft too long front to back. Luckily plumbing was okay but just the delay from redoing the trusses added thousands to the final bill.

Make them fix errors earlier. Make sure walls are actually straight up.

Upgrades: Interior doors, Cabinets (Kitchen), paint (3 tone).. maybe higher end LVP (vs carpet or cheap LVP)

In regards to technology changes, definitely put CAT6 rather than CAT5 in.

I’ve seen LVP bad in bathrooms, use tile, won’t trap moisture like LVP
