If the cost to replace the EV battery would come down interest would rise
Nobody wants to spend a lot of money on a used EV knowing they will also have to shell out many thousands more to fix the battery. No thanks

Used model 3 long ranges are in the mid $20k's.. + $4k fed rebate.. what you save in gas covers the payment.

This was a concern for EVs built 15 years ago but batteries now last 300k-500k

Yup.. and replacement costs have plummeted. You'll replace an ICE engine before an EV battery.
