The mistakes can be fixed. The pick six was lack of experience, the fumble
against Oklahoma in 4th QTR was experience he held on the ball too long. The fumble against OSU on the pitch was experience again, Entienne let a guy come right in, JR should have kept it and took the loss. The pick on the first play of the game against ISU, he didn’t use his check down and tried to make the longer throw, which is lack of experience.

Fumbles, picks, missing reads are all fixable with with more work from JR and staff. Before those games he played JC, which is nothing like P4 or even FBS at all.

His arm angle and mechanics are not good and need to be fixed which will be harder than fixing the mistakes, but not unfixable. If he doesn’t fix this, I’m not sure how consistent he can be in the B12

JR seems like the type of guy that will put the work in.

For abilities, he has a P4 arm strength and has P4 legs to keep defense honest, he’s proven that. He needs to work on his touch and mechanics.

Not saying he’s going to be a top 5 B12 QB, but he has the ability to be middle of the pack QB who is a good manager and leader. I believe he’ll be better than most people think for the upcoming season.
