I went to a new dentist after graduating college. Just routine cleaning, nothing
Hurting or anything.
Had a cavity so they drilled to fix it. Immense pain for 2-3 days, so they had me come back in, dentist said whoops looks like we drilled too far, you need a root canal.
Only 1 cavity in 9 years since, still upsets me thinking about it.
