I have no issue paying the CEO of Ford 20 million per year when Robert Downey Jr
got 70 million for Iron Man and Aaron Rogers gets paid 37 million dollars for 4 downs as a quarterback of the Jets. I feel like Ford got a steal.

If a corporation in charge of hundreds of thousands of jobs, and brings in billions and billions wasn't willing to spend however much was needed to get the CEO they believed would be best, they should be sued for negligence. Fords CEO could make zero dollars and you could give all his money to the employees and I believe each employee would get less than $100 per year.

If they somehow said we only want the best CEO that will work for 2 million per year, then the people at the best of their field would not be interested in working there. If the Jets had said we'll take Aaron Rogers, but we'll only pay him 2 million per year...guess what? Aaron Rogers doesn't become a Jet. With Aaron, obviously the Jets get hosed, and that can happen with a corporation as well, but I have no problem at all with the Jets or Ford trying to get the best person to lead the team they can. It would be crazy if they put an artificial limit on it.
