BYU fans are incredibly naive when it comes to Utah.
Utah, even though a small populous state with minimal history, somehow has to play at the highest levels of CFB against established blue blood programs with exponentially more resources and talent.
Nobody has that expectation. It's weird. It's clueless.
But...the main blue blood schools are already placed in P2. So when we talk about conference expansion outside the SEC and the BIG...things start to drop off quickly. Clemson is tied up and ND is independent.
From there, who else is playing better football than Utah in the CFP era?
Again, don't compare to Alabama or Michigan or Penn State...because those are already placed in the SEC and the BIG. We're talking about who's left that's attractive to the next level of Power conferences?
