Why? Brings more money for the Big12 and UW/UO for however long they stay.

It blows up the PAC12 for good, and once Oregon and Washington leave you can have your pick of Arizona State, Colorado, Arizona, Wazzu, Oregon State, etc. The move also solidifies the Big12 as the 3rd best college conference in America, firmly over the ACC and relegating the PAC to a G6 status ala the AAC.

And you never know, maybe the B10 doesn’t call Oregon and Washington for a while…
