HUGE BYU fan. . . But the 2008 and 2009 seasons had this constant barrage of NC
2008 was the quest for perfection, After the UCLA shutout and Top 10 ranking going into Ft Worth we all thought maybe BYU could be a NC contender. heck even the halftime big screen movies were about BYU busting the BCS that year.
2009, After the Oklahoma Win, Kirk Herbstreit was talking up BYU and even ranked us in his Top 5 teams after week 2.
Then FSU took advantage of an injury to Scott Johnson and our talented but raw freshman safety (Can't remember his name, but he was very talented). We also ran head first into a TCU game that showed just how good TCU really was and BYU finished as a Top 15 team after beating a very talented OSU team.

They have much to be excited about next year. Good for them. BYU has much to be excited about as well. Good for us.
