Raised in an active lds family. Dad was a bishop and brother was a bishop and both brothers went on missions etc. Grew up hunting in the fall and then coming home and watching BYU games with my dad and brothers.
Became a big time black sheep and stopped going to church and am no longer a believer. Still absolutely love BYU (especially Sitake) and love Mormon people and usually defend them when someone makes unfounded criticisms.

Pretty much all my friends are Ute fans and I occasionally tailgate and attend Ute games. They all want me to convert but I just can't do it. I just wear jazz gear to the tailgates and games. One time wore a BYU hat and quickly learned to never do that again unless I want to end up in jail or the hospital.
