He was a consultant.
Now he's an actual position coach and we add an extra set of eyes with 30ish years of experience to the side of the ball that most fans were concerned about.
That's a win for the defense. Overall we lost 2 coaches and we gained two. -1 for the offense and +1 for the defense. Offense will be ok, Overall it's the strongest unit. Defense was the unit that most people seem to be concerned about. Obviously Kalani felt they needed a little more help. I trust him to make the right move.
Overall the coaching staff increased significantly in number of years of coaching experience. It has the same number of coaches as last year. More experience is good. Didn't you tell me that people improve with More experience?
