"Access" refers to access to BYU fans and alumni

While the expanded AAC would be a nationwide conference, independent BYU loves moving games around and giving its fan base opportunities to see BYU in play in iconic stadiums around the nation. The AAC can provide that nearly in the way that independence does.

The last 5 non-COVID seasons BYU played in California(x5), Idaho(x3), Nevada(x2), Arizona(x2), Hawaii(x2), Ohio(x2), Michigan(x2), Massachusetts(x2), Wisconsin, Washington, Florida, Tennessee, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Maryland, Nebraska, and Missouri.

The next 5 independent seasons look pretty similar, with several road game holes to fill. California(x4), Idaho(x2), Nevada(x2), Texas(x2), Florida(x2), Virginia(x2), North Carolina(x2), Washington, Georgia, Oregon, Arkansas, Wyoming, Hawaii.
