BYU gets. BYU wanted exposure. They got exposure. Lots of exposure. They wanted ESPN to help them schedule games all around the country to increase exposure. They got that.
And when BYU is on, that exposure is not diluted with MWC or AAC messaging and advertising. It is BYU messaging.
They wanted better fan access. They got better fan access.
Look at the 2021 schedule. Then notice how it varies year to year. It is not all about same teams and same sites over and over again. There is a plus and minus to it, but we have a few good rivalries mixed in with a large variety of other opponents.
Go back and look. It was almost all about exposure, a lot about fan access, and very little about money.
