Pretty sure at least Nevada and Southern Miss are USU's equals or better.

For instance, Nevada's WAC membership from 2000 predates USU's by 5 years (who joined the WAC in 2005, with Idaho and New Mexico State)....and Nevada joined the MWC a year before USU.

Southern Miss joined the CUSA in 1995 (along with Cincinnati, Louisville, USF, Memphis and others), when USU was still in the Big West (where the Aggies stayed for another 10 years).
