Oh, i totally agree. We are the only country in the western world that tries to track

everyone to college, when really ony about 30 percent should really go. And then we get into a chicken or the egg argument. It is possible that schools have expanded courses of study that are "easier" simply becuse there are far too many kids in te system who really don't belong in college, so to speak. I know this sounds elitist, but it may very well be true.
