You really have to stop thinking in terms of money ... the money won't matter as
much. Hayward will make more money with this contract (let alone his next one) to take care of his family for generations to come. It's simply not an issue like it was in the past. IMO, his decision will come down to where he feels he can win and where he and his family want to live. The Jazz have shown that they are willing to do whatever they can to build this team and take care of their players.

Keep in mind, Hayward is 'the guy' here with the Jazz. Rudy shares the spotlight, but the offense here is designed around him. It won't be that way in Boston with IT on the team. Also, Hayward has helped build this team from a non-playoff team to what it is now. Also, he would have far more of a legacy here with the Jazz than he ever would in Boston. He could finish his career in the top 3 players ever to play here ... not so in Boston.

We'll find out what he values most soon enough but I hardly think it's cut and dried that he's leaving for sure.
