This is no different than when DWill left. They had accomplished about the same thing with the Jazz, similarly effective players at their point of exit (imo). Obviously DWill fell off the map and probably shouldn't start for any team in the league at this point. Hayward still has an excellent work ethic so I'm guessing he'll to continue to put up prime numbers for many years but who knows. The landscape of the NBA is changing very quickly. So far he has made one all-star team and took Utah to the 2nd round. We aren't losing Kevin Durant here. Yes I'm somewhat minimizing things so if/when he goes, it's a bit easier to accept because I don't think he's hit his ceiling. If he does leave though, I guess that means Utah has 30+ million they can throw at someone else.
