The former systems at least had more than 2 bowl games that the teams on the outside looking in had a chance to participate in. Now with only two games (4 teams) making up the "playoff" there will be next to no chance at all for a non-P5 conference team to even get a sniff. If someone things the conference heads of the P5 will stand for one of their brother conferences being left out so that a Boise State, Utah or Hawaii (or BYU) can take their place at the table I have the property the Easter Bunny uses in the off season for their egg production that I'll sell rather cheaply.
