I would expect ALUFs, and every employee and fan of the University of Utah to stand up for the Code of Conduct of the University. I would expect ALUFs to stand up for their values. I would expect every fan and everyone in the State of Utah, the owners of the University of Utah, to demand that the Code of Conduct be enforced at all University events.
The behavior of some yewts is despicable. No self-respecting ALUF would stand for it. Stand up for yourselves, your rights, your dignity and the dignity of the University of Utah. Don't put up with the low-class, disgusting behavior of some yewt fans. Demand that the University take action. Follow the Code of Conduct and rules of the University and remove individuals who cannot or will not obey the rules from University events and the University of Utah campus. They have the power and the authority to do that.
ALUFs have the power to make it happen. The only thing missing is that ALUFs apparently do not have the courage or self-respect to take action and clean up the situation. The ALUF's who can't stand attending University events and having to witness the behavior of some misbehaving yewt fans simply quit going. That's wrong. They should not permit the minority of offenders to do as they please and make the experience undesirable for the majority and run them off.
At what point will the administration of the UofU do something about it? When enough people complain about it and demand that the problem be addressed. Obviously, it's up to ALUF's to do that. Certainly the drunken, stupid yewts among the fans are not going to do it.
I have no hope or expectation that ALUF's have the courage to speak out or demand compliance with or enforcement of the Code of Conduct. ALUFs have shown that they have a weak spine and are unwilling to stand up for their rights and values. Certainly, the UofU administration, most of all the Athletic Office, has no inclination to enforce any Rules of the University. They seldom have in the past.
