Divisions are dumb. B1G and SEC dropped divisions, because weak teams from weak
divisions ended up in CCGs year after year and good teams in stronger divisions ended up missing CCGs year after year. No need to repeat that bad process.
The problems is mega conferences. Make the CCG a 4 team playoff. 8 conference games. Last weekend when 4 teams playing for entry to CCG other teams play some seeded games in the higher seeded teams’ home. Gives preference to in season performance. Not for entry to CCG, just a seeded last game like many conf. did at the end of 2020.
