Seems like every other form insurance - life, auto, etc - has clear criteria for
payout whereas in healthcare it is much more complex to know when a certain treatment is best practice vs overly conservative.
That and when you buy you’re own insurance you’re sensitive to when you chose to make a claim.
We have to get away from terrible tax law which causes most of us to buy healthcare and health insurance together via a third party (employer or government).
