Of the many hundred, probably over 1,000 in the portal have little hope of being paid much, if any more than a scholarship. There are maybe 1-300 that could be paid NIL in an amount more than their scholarship. The rest are mostly wanting to play or are just unhappy with their school, playing style, coaches... and looking for a change and/or playing time.
