Think he benefitted a little bit because he was a late bloomer. Probably would have landed somewhere anyway, but he sort of went from a D3 to a D1 kid with that extra year.

The second son would have been fine not being held back.

I also in general hate the idea of it. I am in An east coast urban area where tons of people do it, so it was sort of just a keeping up type of move.
