He missed a wide open deep ball with a clean pocket. He missed a read on a blitz where he had a wide open receiver. He made an absolutely terrible throw on an easy fade route to the corner. He missed a wide open 11 yard curl route with a clean pocket.
I don’t really understand your point. He’s an inconsistent average quarterback. By definition, you can’t predict when he is going to make a good throw. These are all different types of throws and reads. Is there a type of play where he never makes a mistake? If so, don’t you think the defense would eventually figure that out.
You have to run the playbook and these weren’t complicated or difficult throws.
