discipline could’ve actually won the game. And that applies to all Utes. A little more emotional discipline could’ve helped on Saturday. Across the board. Anyone who watched that meltdown could tell you that. I think the way Rose acted put a target on his back for the BYU defense. And just look what happened… BYU defense shut him down and knocked out for the rest of the season.
I do wonder when the injury happened and how much it played into his ineffectiveness in the second half. He had the team rolling. Utah should have won this game. BYU was overconfident and not ready for the Utah defense. Any life from the Utah offense and this game was going to be a classic.
I thought byu’s defense was going to shut Utah down because every time I watched Utahs offense this year it was awful. Credit to Rose for igniting the offense for a quarter. But I rolled my eyes at how he acted. Too high and too low. He needs to learn to be more even keel if he’s going to make it.
