turned around and yelled “Are you sitting there? Cuz if you are, you’re going to be s-ing my d all night long!” As he gestured toward his groin area.
I responded by saying, “Well that’s one way to set the tone early, we don’t even kick off for 23 more minutes.”
He wasn’t thrilled that I didn’t give a stronger response. Throughout the game he…how do I say it CB friendly… solicited fellatio from me at least 25 times. He seemed oddly fixated on repeating that “request”.
Anyway, it was a little bit odd, especially with 2 13-year-olds and my wife sitting next to me.
We were in an area with very vocal people constantly screaming the F word directly at us, including the younger kids. Luckily my son has been in the situation up there before and knew what to expect. The other kid we had with us hadn’t been in the situation before and was in tears a couple times. He’s a newer BYU fan, not LDS, and I can say with certainty that he won’t ever be a U fan after what happened to him.
We go to all the rivalry games and go in knowing that RES is a hostile environment. The Ute fans definitely delivered.
