Yes he is. Getting a lot of fans at away games is the very definition of a team traveling well. BYU travels well.

It means the team travels well, not the fans. If the team draws a lot of fans to its away games, it travels well.

There's no other way to define it. Unless they poll the opposing fans about how far they traveled to get to the game
