I read the words you have posted, but I am not sure my instincts are willing to swallow the message you are claiming to
promote. A part of me says that you in a face to face conversation would reveal what you are really saying and that it is more about your own feelings of frustration. Maybe a frustration that the "world" seems to get away with picking on "mormons" even with impunity and yet "we" are just weak kneed yellow bellies unwilling to fight back even if that means getting ugly such as throwing hands, using violence, knocking a few heads together.

If my instincts are correct, I would say Proverbs 16:18-19 is the answer you need although maybe not the one you are looking for

Finally it seems that the Church is doing a better job each and every year at bringing people to them vs pushing them away. Interestingly enough the more we focus on Christ which is imo what the leadership of the church has been doing over the past decade, the more we are actually drawing people towards us as a faith, a church and a community.

What happened after the KSU game when that young QB's fundraiser spiked with many donations from BYU fans given that he was frustrated in his effort to score a TDs is what I am talking about. Meanwhile there are people outside the stadium spreading their rancor, their vitriol, their poison to any and all visiting fans they can reach to warn them about the terrible "mormons", there were people online doing the same and continue to do so this day. Yet all that community that was impacted by that gesture are feeling is these LDS people are kind and caring and the countless expressions of "best time" at the game keep rolling.

No my brother it isn't cowardice that keeps many of us from screaming at, shaking fingers at, engaging in vitriolic laden conflict towards those that would quickly and gladly bring us down to those low places. It is a belief, yes even faith that the victory is already won and God knows the score and so we don't have to spend our time here on earth dealing with that. We just need to do our best to care for and love those around us.
