See, I don’t think Rodgers’ struggles are really indicative one way or the other
He’s 40 years old, coming off an Achilles injury. That’s a pretty devastating injury to come back from, especially for an old NFL player.

If Rodgers came to New York 10 years (heck, even 5) years ago and he struggled, that’s one thing.

But his last year in Green Bay was his worst year by far and he showed a lot of age. He’s a guy that made a living off running around and improving, and he just couldn’t do it as well anymore. Add two more years to that + and achilles, we don’t have anywhere near what Green Bay had five years ago.

If the Jets got the 2020 Aaron Rodgers and he was this bad, I would agree. But he’s an old, immobile version of himself. So I don’t think it’s fair to say, “see, even Aaron Rodgers struggled in New York,” when he’s a shell of himself and has been for years.
