11 wins basically guarantees BYU a top-10 CFP ranking and thus a likely CFP bid
11-win BYU is likely either the Big 12 champ or runner up. Though, there are scenarios where 11-1 BYU doesn't reach the CCG - for instance, if Iowa State and Colorado go undefeated in their Big 12 games or if the team that beats 11-1 BYU goes 8-1 or better in Big 12 play.
10-2 (with no CCG) puts BYU in contention.
The only 11-win teams that did not finish in the CFP Rankings top-10 have been G5 teams.
