Yep. Thats why in medicine you don’t do something unless you want to
deal with what ever that action leads to… holds true for any test or scan you order or procedure you perform.

Obviously you’re also liable for any mole you don’t remove or any action that you fail to perform.

Now multiple these decisions by 10-20x per day and you realize this is actually a tougher job than people realize

Obviously everyone’s beating a dead horse here but any doctor that removes a mole and then throws it in the trash without a biopsy would get eaten alive on why they didn’t biopsy it if it ended up being cancerous. Pretty simple.
