to P5/4. I grew up an OU fan with appropriate annual national championship relevance. I had no time to pay much attention to any team without that expectation until I became a BYU fan (forgive me I knew BYU had a national championship but it wasn't a reasonable annual expectation).

When I worked in Utah, on Gameweek UU fans would lock my computer, post then lock monitor backgrounds of BYU players crying, etc. There was never friendly bantering. Outside of Utah the few football fans who'd heard of the UU thought they might be another BYU campus.

I have never seen BYU fans attending non-UU football games to cheer BYU's adversary but I've seen several Ute fans at every BYU away game I've attended and I was able to see them without them having been pointed out to me. That means there were likely at least as many more that I didn't see.

BYU's recruiting will elevate and we will consistently beat them from now on.
