but good after his mistakes. This fact has been severely hidden by possibly the best three game stretch of BYU defense ever (wow, Tuiaki was bad and JHill is really good). Trust me if our defense wasn’t exceptional and we were 2-1 with two close wins against crappy teams people would not be so patient. I think this is more about the team sticking with him when after 2 1/2 games (against 2 and possibly (3) bad teams in football). Kudos to the team for not bailing.
I would have gone to GBO long ago and felt like his one series (granted against Wyoming and possibly their second team) only confirmed my perspective. GBO looks like he has played three or four years of competitive football at a high-level. No nerves, no dumb mistakes, good size, good strength, etc. Oh wait he has played at a high level for years!!
