I did not claim that was all CB was about. I just said that it is a place where those things happen. There are other reasons for someone who's favorite team is not BYU to be on CB.

#1 - I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I grew up in Provo. CB has a lot of discussions about things going on in my home. I currently live out of state so it is nice to hear about what is going on in the area. Also, because I am from the area, I often enjoy talking about many of the same things that are talked about here because I share a culture with many on CB.

#2 - I am a BYU fan, BYU is my second college team. I've been to at least 200 BYU sporting events. I went to nearly ever football and basketball home game for 15 years, plus a few dozen volleyball (mens and womens) and baseball games. I like BYU sports. I've never met a sober BYU fan I didn't get along with.

#3 - I don't do social media, and many CB posters do, so when something of note comes up on social media, I can find out about it here.

#4 - There is more discussion of certain aspects of UofU sports here than anywhere else. As long as there are discussions about the Utes on your top 10 threads list, there will always be Ute fans hanging around on CB.
