They don't bother me. To the contrary I kind of welcome it. Helps me see how much stock to put in people's opinions.

In the same way I prefer watching MSNBC to FoxNews, despite being relatively conservative. Opposing viewpoints help me shape my opinions.

Just because I choose to remain positive, possibly a bit Pollyanna doesn't mean I expect others to.
