Um. Yes they do. They just won’t do the search for you. It’s searchable online,

but Salt Lake Count requires a “pricey” subscription. I don’t search much in Salt Lake County, but IIRC the subscription is about $150. Many other counties in Utah have the records from the recorder’s office available online for free (not going back for ever but for a few decades).
