I think it's the accumulation of generations of over-educated workers willing to

work for lower wages in order to stay close to family. It happens a little bit everywhere but the factors are amplified in Utah. It that sense ... the persistent Utah residents are part of the problem.

With that being said ... It still sucks for those involved. I don't wish financial struggles on anyone.
