Ask your attorney how easy it is to pierce the LLC to get to
the owners. It's not just forming the LLC, it is the care and feeding of the LLC as well. Unless you hire a management company, you may allow piercing of the LLC by doing your own repairs.
Just buy insurance and avoid the attorney's fees and hassle with the bank when you finance. Especially if you are going to self manage.
